Very comprehensive. If you’ve ever been to the French Open, you’ll know how great this is! The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats. Matches are played on Hisense Arena until the end of the 4th  Round, on the second Monday of the tournament.

For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed.

There are a limited number of covered seats in MCA so if it’s a hot day and you want to see one of the matches scheduled to be played there then it’s advisable to arrive early to get a covered seat and keep your seats for the day.

On the Floor: Sections FL1, FL2, FL3 and FL4 are a part of Floor Seating, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. Unlike Wimbledon, you don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn, or camp out overnight, to queue for them, Unlike the French Open, there are loads available, so other than the middle Saturday you can rock up on the day and buy one. In 2013 on Day 7 the matches were Doubles, Junior Boys and Girls matches and a mens singles match as the evening feature on MCA. MCA has a capacity of 6,000 and in 2015 this will be expanded to 7500 and MCA will also have a roof.

MCA is the Australian Open’s number three court.

He accomplished the grand slam in 1962 and 1969 and has also won 200 singles titles, the highest in the history of tennis. There is a seating plan at this website that might help.

Seating Tips & Advice "The acoustics for a concert are not the best." If you want to go sight seeing during the day (or have a break from the heat) try an After 5 Ground Pass and as the name suggests, enter after 5pm.

Does the press box to the left of section 314 obstruct views?

You'd have to be might unlucky to get one where the kids view would be blocked. Right down the front you get very little breeze and there is a lot of reflective heat off a court which is basically rubberised concrete.

Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. "Lots of Fold-up Seating in Sections 104-108" - A lot of the seats in Sections 104-108 are temporary seats that they bring in for hockey and concerts.Seats are cheaper and not as comfortable as permanent seating, but the legroom seems slightly better. Hi there. I went to the DanceSport championships at the AIS arena last year and bought the most expensive tickets. Ground Pass $49 – The GP covers access to all other courts. I remembered saying to myself at the time "next time, I will get the cheapest seats".
